TIERING - Angrax

Librarius INSIGHT - A Warhammer 40K: Tacticus Repository Character Tier - Angrax

ANGRAX, Terminator Champion

INSIGHT Rating - Tier B Juggernaut

  • Guild       - 1
  • PvP         - 2-
  • Arenas    - 1
  • Events    - 3
  • A melee specialist, featuring multi-hits, a great defensive trait, very high armor and health
  • Strength:
    • Good passive and Deep Strike trait for surprise attack
    • Good passive for spawn point camping
  • Weakness:
    • Speed and susceptible to movement debuff (e.g. suppression, terrain)
    • Poor active: low damage for a melee specialist, not enough crowd-clearing, and battle fatigue triggering being irrelevant and unreliable
See Metrics for definition on classes and rating

PvP draft mode

  • Deep Strike + high HP & armor enables Angrax to pose a sizable threat to enemy's backline by teleporting behind enemy line AND survive the round
  • His passive encourages his marks to keep distances (or gets hits for free), likely driving them towards your front-line
  • Yet, the effect is noticeable only if you go first and he is on reserve so that he can be placed in 2nd turn of yours (i.e. this is unreliable)

Guild Raids and Arena

  • Angrax's movement speed hinders his outputs, especially against targets who can run around the map
  • He can be a tank for taking overwatches but many summons can do the same

Wave-clearing events

  • Angrax can spawn-camp and clear stages quickly with his passive
