PvP draft mode

  • Minimising free hexes around characters are very important against Archimatos's active. In other words, his active should encourage enemies to stick together, creating tactical advantage should AoE damage be available
  • If his summon spawns at melee range of an enemy in overwatch, it will block overwatches to that direction
  • He can quickly overwhelm a team of range-focus characters
  • Most of Space Wolf characters can counter him very well
  • Be careful of LtGB hurting non-Chaos allies

Guild Raids

  • Ineffective against Mortarion and Ghazghkull:
    • Bloodletters are highly suspectable to Guild Bosses' AoE attacks (they have 0 armor and low health)
    • Bloodletters prioritise enemy's summons than Guild Boss
  • Against Szarekh, if Bloodletters run into Szarekh's range before it leaves the throne, Szarekh often stays in the throne. Timing to summon is crucial
  • Bloodletters do 1 more hit against Pskyer bosses (all Tyrants and Mortarion)

Arena

  • Good placement of Bloodletters can manipulate enemies' behaviors as enemies prioritise kills, and summons are easier to kill
  • Same comments as PvP draft mode

Wave-clearing events

  • Archimatos has wave-clearing AoE in ranged attack, with each kill summoning 1 Bloodletter (max 4 kills per attack, 2 from psychic damage and 2 from LtGB).
  • Same comments as Arena

    • Upon killing his target with normal attack or LtGB, Archimatos summons 1 Bloodletter at the spot of expired target
    • This can happen more than once per attack if more than 1 target expires

Traits Analysis

Comments: Reliable AoE to normal ranged attack

  • Let the Galaxy Burn (LtGB)
    • 50% chance to score 1 hit to the target or any non-Chaos unit next to target for 1 ranged attack
  • Psyker
    • 2nd psychic hit to a random unit next to original target, dealing 50% damage
    • Only 1 LtGB will be triggered for 1 attack attempt. It can be triggered in either the 1st hit or 2nd hit

    • Tjark active - Pull
    • Sword Brother Godswyl active- Knockback but taking one hex doing so
    • Tanksmasha active - Unreliable knockback
  • Bloodletter Buff - To maximise outputs of the Bloodletters
