This documentary is for analysis to characters change following July 2023 Update.

Character Changes

  • Darkstrider - Significant buff
    • Changes: HP (7%) + Suppressive Fire
      • Suppressive Fire (-15%) + active (-108 and 1 hit) significantly reduce opponents' output
  • Imospekh - Significant buff
    • Changes: HP (20%) + Armor (15%) + 6 hits in melee
    • Weakness on melee removed
    • Survivability Sensitivity: against Tjark (387 x 4 hits)
      • Before: 
        • Armor: 240
        • Damage Taken: 588
        • HP Left: 19%
      • After: 
        • Armor: 276
        • Damage Taken:444, 25% reduction
        • HP Left: 50%
  • Makhotep - Normal Buff
    • Changes: HP (5%) + Armor (11%)
    • Survivability Sensitivity: against Tjark (387 x 4 hits)
      • Before: 
        • Armor: 304
        • Damage Taken: 332
        • HP Left: 66%
      • After: 
        • Armor: 337
        • Damage Taken: 200, 40% reduction
        • HP Left: 79%
  • Thutmose - Niche buff
    • Changes: HP (7%) + Flying Trait + 2 hits in melee
    • Flying benefits his passive (but remains random)
    • Encourage melee play, but it remains too fragile to do so

Key Mechanics Changes

  • Markerlight applies to Guild Bosses
    • Damage buff comparison:
      • Darkstrider: +134 (ranged attack)
      • Eldryon:       +122 / +163 (Aeldari)
      • Aethana:      +55 / + 96 (Aeldari)
      • Calgar:         +122 / +175 (imperial)
    • Key Beneficiaries:
      • Multi-hitter at range and 15% buff
        • Darkstrider + Re'vas
      • Multi-hitter at range
        • Darkstrider + Imospekh
        • Darkstrider + Maugan Ra
  • Displacing Guild Bosses is possible 
    • Unless they have Big Target trait
    • Use Cases:
      • Pull bosses to lower ground for 1.5x damage
      • Pull bosses to open space to attack
      • Note - bosses are immune to hex effects. Wire does not provide damage increase
